The procedure for setting up a new account in Outlook Express 5.0 or later:

1) Open Outlook Express
2) Click on ‘Tools’ menu, then ‘Accounts’, then ‘Mail’ tab.
 

3) Click ‘Add’ then ‘Mail’

4) This starts the Add New Email Account Wizard... On Screen 1 Enter Your Name:

5) On Screen 2 Enter Your Full Email Address Assigned to You:

6) On Screen 3 Enter POP3 and your full Internet Address for both Incoming Mail and Outgoing Mail servers:

7) On Screen 4 Enter Your Full Email Address, then password, and check remember password:

8) On Screen 5 Click Finish:

9) Return to Edit this account by selecting it on the left, them click on the Properties button:

10) Under the Servers tab, check on the box "My server requires authentication":

Finally, click OK then close. You may now click the "Send/Rec" button to check your email.
